The Upper Canada Chapter hosted an incredible Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum on October 5th 2019! This day is designed to introduce young girls and women to various careers in the aviation industry. Participants met with many different chapter members that represent many different career fields including pilots, air traffic controllers, maintenance engineers, flight attendants, and aviation students! This event hosted 14 different stations, and all participants were encouraged to visit the museum and static displays!
